I'm using Edge to read PDF on Mac. I added some comments and the file size go up very quickly. It has changed from 300KB to 1GB. Opening and saving this file is very slow now. And just before, I saved the file and it crashed. All my new comments were lost. I want to know how to solve it that his size is so exaggerated.

You can to clean cookies and cache file or/and attempt a repair of Edge as follows...
Click on “…”, Select Options and choose the InPrivate browsing window.
Clear cache and other browser data by clicking on “…” and choose Browser data you want to clear.
Once done restart Edge.
I don't know if on MAC there is a "repair" function but if not you can simply reinstall Edge.
Step 1: Click Finder on the Mac dock and open it.
Step 2: Go to Applications menu.
Step 3: Select Microsoft Edge and right click on it.
Step 4: Select Move to Trash from the context menu.
Step 5: Get the Edge browser from the official site.
