Microsoft Teams screen share and camera keep shaking/vibrating/moving

Hello,

Since the latest update of Teams, whenever I view someone else's screen or they have their camera on, the image keeps shaking. It kind of is moving about 1mm side to side like it is vibrating. This is consistent and is happening with everyone that I meet with.

It is making me feel really sick when I have to concentrate on their screens.

Does anyone know how I can fix this?

Thanks

This problem is becoming quite annoying. I have updated all my drivers. There is no GPU acceleration option in newer Teams.

My configuration: Windows 11 latest, Dell Precision 5560, Dell P3424WEB (3440x1440) monitor (USB-C). Nvidia RTX A2000.

Update: I've now downgraded to old Teams to fix this problem. I have to admit that this was so annoying that my eyes started hurting a bit.

Do you know how to "Disable GPU Hardware Acceleration" in the new version of teams? specifically the 23285.3607.2525.937 version?

    Thanks.

    Hello

I’m Adeyemi and I’d be happy to help you with your question.

I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing this issue with Microsoft Teams. Here are a few potential solutions that might help:

    1. Disable GPU Hardware Acceleration: In Microsoft Teams, click on your Profile Picture at the top right of your window, then click Settings on the drop-down menu. In the General section, check "Disable GPU hardware acceleration" and restart Teams
    2. Clear App Cache: If the issue is specific to the MS Teams desktop app, try clearing the app cache
    3. Use Teams Web App: Check if you see a similar experience on the MS Teams web app to troubleshoot the issue. Go to 'Teams Web App' at https://teams.microsoft.com, use the "Use the web app instead" option to open teams in a browser (preferably Chrome or Edge) and check the outcome
    4. Downgrade Teams App: If none of the above solutions work, you might want to consider downgrading to a previous version of the Teams app as a last resort

    I hope this helps.
