Hi @Randall Hewitt
Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum.
The “No internet, secured” status usually means the Surface is connected to the Wi‑Fi network but isn’t getting proper internet connectivity, often due to IP/DHCP, encryption, or driver issues rather than the Wi‑Fi itself.
Here are a few steps you can try:
- Temporarily disable IPv6
- Control Panel > Network and Sharing Center > Change adapter settings.
- Right‑click Wi‑Fi > Properties > uncheck Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6) > OK.
- Toggle Wi‑Fi Off/On.
- Roll Back to the "Stable" Driver
Since you mentioned this happened after an update, try rolling back to older update
- Right-click Start > Device Manager.
- Expand Network adapters > Right-click Qualcomm FastConnect 7800.
- Select Update driver > Browse my computer for drivers.
- Select Let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer.
- You should see 2-3 versions. Select an older one (usually with a lower version number) and hit Next. Reboot.
- Clean reinstall the Surface Pro 11 Drivers & Firmware
- Uninstall the current Wi‑Fi driver with deletion:\Device Manager > Network adapters > (your Wi‑Fi) > Uninstall device, check Delete the driver software, confirm.
- Install the correct MSI for your exact Surface Pro 11 variant and Windows build:

- Restart, reconnect Wi‑Fi, and test.
Hopefully it will help work with your issue and if you have any other questions or need further assistance, feel free to ask.
