Go to Settings → Privacy & Security → Location

Make sure "Location services" is toggled On

Also make sure "Let apps access your location" is On

Go to Settings → Privacy & Security → Find My Device

Make sure the toggle is turned on here as well

Go to Settings → Accounts → Your Info

Confirm it shows your Microsoft account (not a local account). Find My Device only works with a Microsoft account.

Go to Settings → Privacy & Security → Location

Scroll down to "Allow desktop apps to access your location" and make sure that is also On

If you're unable to find your Surface Pro using the "Find My Device" feature and it indicates that location is disabled, there are a few things you can check:

    1. Location Services: Ensure that location services are enabled on your device. You can verify this by going to Settings > Privacy > Location and checking if location access is turned on for your device.
    2. Allow Location for Apps: Make sure that the setting for allowing apps to access your location is enabled. You can check this in the same Location settings menu.
    3. Policy Settings: If you're managing your device through a corporate or educational account, group policies might restrict location services. You can check the Group Policy settings if applicable.
    4. Reboot the Device: Sometimes, simply rebooting the device can resolve temporary issues related to location services.
    5. Third-Party Software: Check if any third-party software (like security or privacy tools) is interfering with location services. For instance, tools like SpyBot AntiBeacon can disable location services, so ensure they are configured correctly or temporarily disabled.

If you've checked all of the above and still face issues, you might want to consult Microsoft support for further assistance.
