Launching Microsoft Edge on Windows 11
It looks like Microsoft Edge is opening in an off-screen or glitched window position, which is why it appears stuck in the top left corner and can’t be interacted with. This usually happens after a display change, resolution change, or multi-monitor issue.
First try resetting the window position using the keyboard. Click the Edge icon on the taskbar so it’s selected, then press Alt + Space, then press M, then use the arrow keys on your keyboard to move the window. Once it starts moving, move your mouse and the window should attach to the cursor so you can drag it back to the center. Press Enter to set it in place.
If that does not work, try maximizing it using the keyboard. Select Edge from the taskbar and press Windows key + Up Arrow. That forces the window to maximize. If it maximizes correctly, close it while maximized and reopen it to see if the position is fixed.
If the window is still unusable, close Edge completely. Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc to open Task Manager. Find Microsoft Edge under Processes, select it, and click End Task. Then reopen Edge.
If the problem continues, reset Edge’s window state by launching it with a command. Press Windows key + R and run:
msedge --start-maximized
If that works, close Edge normally and reopen it.
