On Teams on my computer there is an account from MVS Pharma with my name. It says:

"Sie müssen sich erneut anmelden. Dies kann eine Anforderung ihrer IT-Abteilung oder von Teams, oder das Ergebnis einer Kennwortaktualisierung sein."

I wrote to people from MVS Pharma but there was no help that worked.

    Hi Eva Künnemann,

The message you’re seeing usually appears when Teams cannot validate the current authentication token. This can happen after a password change, a security policy update from the organization’s IT department, or when the cached sign-in data on the device becomes outdated.

The first step I recommend is to sign out fully from Teams on your computer, clear the Teams cache, and then sign back in with your MVS Pharma credentials. If your password was recently changed, make sure you’re using the updated one. If you continue to see the error, it may be that your account needs to be re‑enabled or refreshed by the MVS Pharma IT team. Because the account is managed by their domain, only their administrators can reset or re‑provision your access.

If you’ve already contacted them and the issue persists, you can try accessing Teams via the web (teams.microsoft.com) to confirm whether the problem is local to the desktop app or tied to the account itself. If the web version works, reinstalling the Teams desktop client often resolves lingering sign‑in issues. If the web version also fails, then the account configuration on the MVS Pharma side likely needs to be corrected.

I hope the response provided some helpful insight. If it clarified the issue for you, please consider marking it as Accept Answer so others with the same issue can find the solution.

    Jason.

The message means Teams is blocking access to the MVS Pharma account until a fresh sign-in is completed. To restore access on the computer:

    1. In the Teams app, select the yellow/colored banner that says you must sign in again, or select the Sign in button if visible.
    2. Complete the sign-in with the MVS Pharma work account credentials (the email in the @mvs-pharma.com domain) and any required multi-factor authentication.
    3. If no banner or button appears, check the Windows system tray (near the clock). Look for the Teams icon with a red dot or exclamation mark and select it to open the sign-in window.
    4. If the window still does not appear, right‑click the Teams icon in the system tray, choose Quit, then restart Teams and try signing in again.
    5. Ensure the device is connected to the network required by MVS Pharma (for example, VPN if the company requires it) before opening Teams.
    6. Avoid switching between networks (office Wi‑Fi, home, public Wi‑Fi) while signed in. If changing networks, sign out of Teams first, then sign back in on the new network.
    7. In Teams, select the profile picture and choose Check for updates to keep the app current.

If sign‑in still fails or a status code appears in the lower-left corner of the Teams window, provide that status code to the MVS Pharma IT administrator. Many sign‑in issues can only be fixed by the organization’s IT or Microsoft 365 admin (for example, domain or tenant configuration, conditional access, or password/security policy).

If the account itself is blocked or the password cannot be reset, the MVS Pharma global admin or Microsoft 365 Data Protection team must assist by resetting the password or restoring access.
