    Hello,

What problem are you encountering? Could you please provide a screenshot? Thank you.

Follow these steps to restore access to Microsoft Teams Free after deactivation or sign-in issues:

    1. In the Teams app, look for a banner asking to Sign in to regain access. Select the banner or Sign in button and complete the sign-in, including any multi-factor authentication (MFA) prompts.
    2. If no banner appears, check the system tray (near the clock) for a Teams icon with a red dot or exclamation mark. Select it to open the sign-in window and re-authenticate.
    3. If the sign-in window still does not appear, right-click the Teams icon in the system tray and select Quit, then reopen Teams and sign in again.
    4. Ensure the correct account is being used. If Teams opens with a personal account that is not the intended one, sign out via the profile picture in the top-right corner and sign back in with the correct work, school, or personal Microsoft account. See also the guidance on being signed in to the wrong account and adding a work or school account if applicable.
    5. Confirm the required network is available. If the organization or account requires VPN or a specific network, connect to that network before launching Teams, and avoid switching networks while signed in.
    6. Make sure the Teams app is updated: select the profile picture and choose Check for updates.
    7. If access is still blocked or the banner keeps reappearing, contact the IT administrator (for work/school accounts) or use the in-product contact support option or Microsoft Teams Community for additional help.

These steps address scenarios where Teams Free access is challenged or blocked and where the wrong account may be signed in, which commonly appears similar to a “deactivated” personal account.
