Monitors won't detect through docking station

I am using a new docking station that connects by USB C. The new setup works fine with my work computer so there is no cable/connection issue. My personal laptop detects the ethernet, mouse and keyboard, but will not detect my 2 monitors. I know my USB C port is strong enough to support the displays because with my last docking station, I had 3 external monitors connected. My driver is updated. What could be the issue?

Hi there! My name is David. It’s a pleasure to help you today.

Please let me know the brand and model of your personal laptop. Also, tell me the brand and model of the docking station you are using.

What might be happening is that the docking station uses a different protocol than the one you previously had, it may require additional software for video functions, or there could be a compatibility issue.

I’ll be waiting for your reply. Regards.
