Your Mac OS X Lion is simply too old for the default Windows file-sharing protocol.

Error 0x80004005 usually happens because very old macOS (OS X Lion – 2011) uses SMB1 file sharing, while modern Windows devices like Microsoft Surface Pro 11 have SMB1 disabled for security.

    To resolve this, try:

Because OS X Lion only supports SMB1, you may need to temporarily enable it.

    Steps on the Surface:

    Search Windows Features

Click Turn Windows features on or off

    Enable:

    SMB 1.0/CIFS File Sharing Support

    Reboot

    Then in File Explorer type:

    \Mac-IP-address [On the Mac: System Preferences → Network → Wi-Fi → Advanced → TCP/IP]

After transferring the photos, disable SMB1 again.
