MS privacy statement pop up in Edge

Everytime I open the Edge page the annoying MS privacy statement appears. Accepting it makes no difference because it still appears when I open Edge again.

I have checked the recommended Edge settings and all appears as correct. I have a Nordvpn extension and tried turning it off but again it makes no difference. I have accepted the privacy statement in my MS account but this does not make a difference either. I am at a loss as to what else to try and am getting really pissed off with MS. I like Edge but if this cannot be resolved I am prepared to dump it and switch to Google.

Hello, thank you for your reply.

In the Edge address bar, enter: edge://settings/privacy/cookies

Enable "Allow sites to save and read cookies (recommended)"

Then add msn.com to "Allow cookies to be saved"

If you are referring to edge settings I could not find anything that matches your suggested action.

    Hello,

Please check if the "Settings > Website Permissions > Manage > Allow saving and reading/writing" option in Edge is enabled. You may also try adding

    • msn.com

    to the allow list below.

See if this resolves the issue.
