To cancel the Microsoft 365 subscription so it no longer bills:

    1. Go to https://account.microsoft.com/services/microsoft365.
    2. Sign in with the same Microsoft account that was used to purchase the Microsoft 365 subscription.
    3. Find the Microsoft 365 subscription under Services & subscriptions and select Manage.
      • If it shows Turn on recurring billing instead of Manage, the subscription is already set to expire on the date shown and will not charge again.
    4. On the Manage page, select Cancel or Upgrade or Cancel.
    5. Scroll through and follow the on‑screen steps to confirm cancellation.

    After cancellation:

    • The subscription will remain usable until the end of the current billing period.
    • For Microsoft 365 Basic, Personal, Family, or Premium, the storage allowance will revert to 5 GB of cloud storage (for OneDrive and Outlook.com attachments) and 15 GB of Outlook.com storage. If more than the free allowance is used, new files cannot be uploaded or synced to OneDrive and email cannot be sent or received in Outlook.com, and OneDrive content may later be deleted according to the policy.

If cancellation options do not appear:

    1. Confirm the subscription was bought directly from Microsoft and not from a third party (such as Apple App Store, Google Play, or a retailer). If it was purchased from Apple or Google, contact their support to cancel or request a refund using the links in the documentation.
    2. Make sure the correct Microsoft account is being used to sign in.
    3. If Turn on recurring billing is shown, no further action is needed because it will not renew.

If additional help is needed with cancellation or billing, use the Contact Support option described in the documentation.
