    Hello James,

Thank you for using our Microsoft Advertising Learn Q&A Platform!

I understand that you are struggling to request a verification PIN. I will be more than happy to assist you further and I hope that the information provided here will also be of some help to you.

By verifying your listing, you protect it from unauthorized changes. When you request verification, we'll send you a PIN to help complete the process. You can receive a unique PIN via phone, mail, email, or text. Some options won't be available to all customers. If you request a phone verification, and you don't receive it within 15 minutes, click Resend PIN to get a new one. If you request a PIN by mail, postcards typically take 5-6 business days to arrive within the United States. For international locations, it may take longer. It's recommended to wait at least twelve days from when you requested verification before contacting support. If you request your PIN via email, be sure the email on your account is one you can access. You can change the email on the account in Basic details. If your PIN doesn't work, it's possible that your agency or another user started the verification process on your behalf using a different account. You must use that same account to enter the PIN. If you are using the right account, make sure you entered the six-digit PIN correctly. Otherwise, you can have a new PIN sent or you can contact support.

Once verified, your listing will be published. You can find the publish ETA next to your Verified status. When a listing is updated and verified, the data is sent to Bing for publishing. Bing pulls business information from Bing Places for Business and multiple third-party data sources, then merges them into your listing. This ensures freshness and accuracy of data. Since the process uses multiple data sources, it can take several days to gather and confirm. The time between when you Add or Update your listing to when you Publish is known as a Publish Cycle. Publish Cycles may vary, however the typical timeframe are 7-10 days for North America and up to two weeks for the rest of the world. It's also worth noting that when you edit your listing, it changes your publish date. That's because every updated version is sent to Bing for publication. If you make changes to a listing that is pending, the expected publish date will be updated to reflect the most recent changes. To avoid resetting the publish ETA and prolonging the publishing timeframe, wait for updates to show in Bing before making more changes. You can get more information here.

Our Bing Places support teams are happy to discuss your query in more detail. Please see our bingplaces.com/supportpage for details.

I have also sent you a private message asking for further details. You are more than welcome to respond to me so that I can begin the investigation on my end.

    Kind regards,
