Set up monitoring for CPU and Storage in Azure

Hi! Hope you are having a good day so far! We have a setup in Azure based on Managed Instance databases. I want to set up monitoring for this environment. Most importantly, I want to have alarming based on CPU and Storage. I have created alert rules etc, but I found the one for Storage a bit tricky. I got the impression this has to be a log search alert, and that the threshold was set in the search query, but I still have to set a threshold? Is there any way to test these alerts? Overall, I just have some questions of similar nature related to alerting for us in Azure, so I was wondering:

  1. What the best practices/ways to alert on high CPU usage and low storage would be in this scenario? Any premade setuå/guides for alarms in these scenarios that can be used as a template?
  2. Are there any possibilities to set up a short meeting with a Microsoft resource to go over the alerting setup and some questions I might have for our Managed Instance?

Thank you for your time and have a good rest of your day :)
