Hello Mélissa Carrière,
I understand how alarming it is to suddenly stop seeing your recent emails, especially when your junk mail continues to come through.
To resolve this and locate your new emails, please check the following areas
Step 1: Check your Focused and Other tabs. Outlook has a feature that splits your inbox into two tabs. It is very easy to accidentally click into the "Other" tab, which might only display older or less relevant emails. Please check the top of your message list to ensure the "Focused" tab is actively selected.
Step 2: Search for hidden emails. Use the search box at the top of Outlook to search for a sender you know has emailed you recently (or ask a friend to send a quick test email right now).
- If the search finds the recent message but it is not showing up in your main inbox list, this usually indicates a sorting or filter problem with your current view.
- If the search cannot find the new email at all, it means the messages are either being routed to a completely different folder, or they are not arriving at the server in the first place.
Step 3: Re-add the account on your app. Since you mentioned this is also happening on the mobile app, the connection might be stuck syncing old data. Try removing the email account from your mobile app settings and then re-adding it. Doing this will force a fresh, updated sync with the server.
I hope these steps help you locate your missing messages and get your inbox updating correctly again. Please feel free to reply directly to this thread if you need any further assistance!
