To change the billing name or address that appears on Microsoft 365 business invoices, update the billing addresses in the Microsoft 365 admin center. The invoice shows:
- Sold-to address (organization name and address)
- Bill-to address (billing department)
- Service usage address (where the service is used, for MOSA accounts)
To change one of these for a Microsoft 365 business subscription:
- Confirm the billing account type (Microsoft Customer Agreement or Microsoft Online Services Agreement) and your role:
- For MCA: must be a Billing account owner/contributor or Billing profile owner/contributor.
- For MOSA: must be at least a Billing Administrator.
- Sign in to the Microsoft 365 admin center with an account that has the required billing role.
- Go to the billing settings for your subscription and edit the relevant address (Sold-to/Bill-to/Service usage) in the organization profile or billing profile.
- Save the changes; they will be reflected on future invoices.
Note: The country/region of the subscription cannot be changed. To change country/region, a new account and subscription must be created in the desired country/region.
