Is Stream (on SharePoint) video processing failing now?

I’m uploading MP4 videos into a SharePoint library and adding them to a page using the Video Web Part (same process I’ve used for months). The issue only affects new uploads:
As the uploader, the video plays in the library, but does NOT play on the page.
For visitors, the video doesn’t play anywhere — not in the library and not on the page.
- Everyone gets the “Something went wrong "error with a PlaybackSessionId.
The non-working video’s Stream link includes &ga=1, while older working videos do not.
I’ve already checked permissions, recreated links, tried different web parts, browsers, and re-uploaded the file. Older videos still work fine — only new uploads fail.
This looks like a Stream processing issue. Can you confirm if processing is currently degraded or stuck for new videos in our tenant?

Based on my current test environment, uploading MP4 files to the Media Library and embedding videos into a page using the Video web part are still working as expected.
It is possible that the video processing on your tenant was unintentionally stuck. In addition, you mentioned that for visitors, both the videos in the library and the videos on the page are not working as expected. You may try re-uploading the video to the library and re-adding it to the page to check whether the issue still occurs.
If the issue continues to persist, I recommend that you open a support ticket with Microsoft Technical Support so they can perform a deeper investigation into this issue.
To create a support ticket, you can follow these steps:
Note: The following steps require administrator permissions on the tenant. If your account does not have administrative rights, I recommend that you contact your organization’s IT department for assistance in performing the steps below.
- Step 1: Go to admin.microsoft.com
- Step 2: Select Help and support.
- Step 3: Enter the title: Request support to check SharePoint
- Step 4: Select Contact support
- Step 5: Choose your preferred contact method
After the ticket is submitted and assigned to a support engineer, the agent will proactively contact you and assist with a more detailed investigation of this issue.
