Lakebase Autoscaling limitations

Lakebase Autoscaling is available in the following regions: eastus, eastus2, centralus, southcentralus, westus, westus2, canadacentral, brazilsouth, northeurope, uksouth, westeurope, australiaeast, centralindia, southeastasia.

Lakebase Autoscaling is the latest version of Lakebase, with autoscaling compute, scale-to-zero, branching, and instant restore. If you are a Lakebase Provisioned user, see Lakebase Provisioned.

The following limitations apply to Lakebase Postgres Autoscaling.

This page describes limitations, such as features not yet supported and compatibility constraints. If you're looking for project limits (for example, maximum number of projects per workspace, branches per project, or history retention), see Project limits in Manage projects.

Migration between Lakebase Provisioned and Lakebase Autoscaling

Direct migration between Lakebase Provisioned and Lakebase Autoscaling is not currently supported.

If you need to move data from a Lakebase Provisioned database to a Lakebase Autoscaling database, you can use pg_dump and pg_restore, which are standard Postgres export and import tools.

Feature availability

This section describes which features and integrations are available in Lakebase Autoscaling and which are currently only available in Lakebase Provisioned.

Compliance

Compliance security profile:

Lakebase Autoscaling supports workspaces with the compliance security profile when the compliance standard is set to HIPAA, C5, TISAX, or None. Other compliance standards are not supported.
